A preview or trial of the new shapes lets you see and comment on length, width and shade before teeth are shaped.

Yes. Many people do the most important changes first and add others later. A plan that is made first makes this easy, because each stage fits the whole design.
If veneers or crowns are part of the plan, temporary ones usually protect the shaped teeth between visits. Temporary teeth can look slightly different from the final ones, and we explain what to expect.
Different treatments last for different times. Whitening fades, bonding and veneers can chip or stain and will need repair or replacement, and straightened teeth need retainers to stay where they are. We cannot say in advance how long the whole result will stay, and we explain the upkeep.
Tell us. Because the work is done in stages, there are points where the plan can be changed. Treatments that involve shaping teeth cannot be undone, so we show previews or trials first, and we do not go ahead with those stages until you are sure.
